Adventures Across a Changing World ❄️
Choco & Chips are two weasels from different places.
Their story helps us explore how wildlife and humans are connected in a changing world.
When Choco met Chips
Choco is a California weasel visiting New York. That is where he meets Chips ...
... and discovers a surprising winter secret.

Why Chips is worried...
Chips turns white in winter, which allows them to remain camouflaged against the snow.
As winter get warmer, it is snowing less in many places, and a white coat can become a problem instead of protection.
This is one example of how climate change can affect wildlife …
... and humans too.

Choco & Chips’ story shows how a changing climate affects wildlife and humans.
The good news? There are many ways to help.
Some actions can be taken in our daily lives, others happen when we act together.
Both matter.
Small choices, repeated by many people, can reduce pressure on the planet:
- Reduce energy waste at home (turn off unused lights, improve insulation, choose efficient appliances).
- Choose more sustainable transport when possible (walk, bike, public transport, car sharing).
- Eat less meat and reduce food waste.
- Support local and seasonal food producers.
- Choose products and companies that are committed to reducing their environmental impact.
Real change also depends on collective action:
- Talk about climate and nature with friends, family, and your community.
- Support conservation projects and science-based initiatives.
- Vote consciously for leaders and policies that protect nature, people, and the climate.
- Encourage cities, schools, and workplaces to adopt greener practices.
